**Education & prof qual**:
**Essential criteria**:
- Degree in IT or an applied science (Biology, Radiography,Physics) or equivalent NHS
- PACS/RIS administration experience
**Desirable criteria**:
- Requires knowledge of hospital computer systems, radiology modalities and IT or equivalent experience.
**Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:
- Knowledge and experience with NHS Targets and Care pathways
- Substantial experience in the system administration of the Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS) and it’s management during downtime (both planned and unplanned)
- Intermediate knowledge of Patient Administration System (PAS)
**Desirable criteria**:
- Advanced Organisational skills
- Ability to work single-handed
- Ability to make decisions and work unsupervised
- Able to train others and explain tasks and to delegate work as appropriate
- Experience in performing Quality Assurance tests and management data
- Experience in dealing with third party providers in outsourcing of radiology reporting

- Ability to work independently and also within a team
- Ability to prioritise and organise demands and multi-task.

- Excellent time keeping skills, resilient and able to prioritise and multi-task

- Knowledge and Understanding of clinical governance and GDPR
- Good Clinical knowledge especially the anatomy of the skeleton and medical terminology

- To created Standard Operating Procedures and new pathways of working

- Good knowledge of IT Terminology, networks, servers and inter-operability

- Knowledge of PACS/RIS software (DICOM/IEP/CRIS/)
