OCU currently have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Training Coordinator to join the team in our Borehamwood Office. The purpose of the role is to coordinate the training needs within relevant divisions of the business. You will need to be well organised and prepared to tackle a wide range of tasks within set deadlines.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- To build and maintain strong relationships with Managers.
- Ensure that statutory training requirements are met.
- Update and maintain the training matrix and database.
- Perform needs assessment to identify knowledge gaps and areas in need of improvement.
- Onboard and assess new employees for training needs.
- Coordination of external training.
- Raise purchase orders for training.
- Collate and upload training certification from employees into the training folders.
- Effectively track Training KPIs in line with OCU & Health & safety department requirements.
- Prioritise urgent training requests.
- Communicate all training programs on a timely basis.
- Effectively coordinate & implement training processes.
- Preparation of all necessary documents/paperwork
- Produce training materials for inhouse programmes.
- Work with the Health & Safety department to embed best practice.
- Assist with assortment of tasks as requested by the H&S Manager or Director of water.

**Skills and Experience**
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong IT skills including all Microsoft Office.
- A decision maker who can think on their feet & act accordingly.
- Can work on their own and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a training coordination or similar role.
- Knowledge of integrated management systems (IMS).
- An understanding of process changes to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with Construction/ Utilities/ Health & Safety.
- Excellent team player with a ‘’can do’’ attitude.
- Flexible, methodical, highly motivated.
