**Hours**:Full time, permanent, working 40 hours per week which will include weekends and bank holidays as required by the business.

We're currently looking for a Performance and Data Specialist to join our Technical Services team at Britain’s Wildest Adventure

**About the Role**

This is a key role that will support the Technical Services team in understanding and improving the technical performance of our rides and attractions, ensuring that we deliver maximum fun to our millions of visitors every year, whilst establishing a smooth function across the Resort

You’ll be responsible for maintaining the EAM Software, acting as the main point of contact for the department and ensuring that any relevant updates and fixes are completed within a sufficient time frame, as well as owning reporting and trend analysis to drive insight led decision making across the asset life cycle.

You’ll influence planned maintenance schedules, parts and stock holding and training needs for team as well as contributing to both operational and strategic decision including the creation of business case and capex proposals.

This is a great opportunity to develop knowledge of operations and engineering management and use continuous improvement techniques to maximise ride availability and guest satisfaction.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Maintenance of Planet facilities management system, ensuring the correct workflows are defined and structured within the system, all necessary data sets are integrated, and that all asset and work order structures are utilised effectively.
- Ensuring that all staff working within Technical Services are trained with using the software on their PDA’s
- To monitor, analyse, report and make conclusions on the performance of Planet (CMMS) data and lifecycle costs using visualisation tools such as Tableau/ QuickSight/ QlickView/ PowerBI), supporting the Technical Service strategies and improvements
- Acting as a primary contact for technical issues across the Resort
- Liaise with other parks around Merlin to support and develop the EAM platform
- To generate and maintain operational trending tools and KPI reports/dashboards, highlighting critical financial and operations augmentation for proposed improvement projects
- To provide detailed analysis of data to support business cases and prioritisation of workload/projects and to define future workload/project requirements
- To support and help drive the reliability, longevity and safety strategies in conjunction with the technical services teams
- Review of internal and supplier data and part failure analysis, to identify trends and create business case justifications for improvement initiatives and decision support
- Support the creation of new methods and techniques to obtain service, reliability, lifecycle data and cost trends from our planet/CMSS system
- Working with engineering, Facilities, and compliance teams to find solutions to issues identified as causing high levels of lifecycle cost or customer downtime using the data provided
- To use data and insight to define an effective servicing and cost-efficient spare parts/tooling strategy by trending spare parts and tooling usage

**What we’re looking for**

You may be a recent graduate with an engineering or operations management degree or have experience working in a systems and data role and will certainly be inquisitive to understand performance and excited by using data analytics to drive improvements.

You’ll also need to demonstrate:

- Strong communications skills and an ability to summarise information into business cases and insights
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills: able to extract, transform, analyse, and interpret large complex data sets.
- Competence with Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- The ability to provide structured, logical thinking and analysis.
- Strong interpersonal communication and positive influencing skills, confident to work on your own initiative whilst also being an effective team player
- Proactive, self-starter that can manage their own time and provide and manage plans or schedules for assigned projects/work
