The role:

- Maintaining HR related data throughout the course of employee lifecycle
- Assisting in monthly payroll procedures by gathering payroll-related information and updating relevant systems before the monthly deadline
- Managing employee files to ensure that contractual and other pertinent documents are current, accurate, and compliant with retention policies
- Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, which includes issuing contractual documents, conducting Right to Work checks, and coordinating with the screening provider for a seamless onboarding experience
- Coordinating induction sessions for new employees in collaboration with Practice Team Assistants and session facilitators
- Arranging orientation days for future Trainees and organising their induction, liaising with relevant departments as necessary
- Managing Trainees' enrolment in required courses and exams through external course providers, ensuring timely receipt of results
- Coordinating Trainee seat requests, performance reviews, and updating HR systems accordingly.
- Assisting in offboarding processes, including confirming departure arrangements, updating HR and payroll systems, and conducting exit interviews
- Providing support for Parental Leave processes, offering assistance to employees beginning or returning from Parental Leave
- Contributing to key HR cycle processes by preparing data, managing calendars, and compiling outcomes
- Supporting Employee Relations-related matters by accurately documenting meeting proceedings as needed
- Aiding the Recruitment Team in coordinating and executing recruitment processes as necessary
- Assisting with the completion of statutory reports such as the Annual Monitoring Return and Article 55 review related to National Insurance.
- Collaborating with the HR Manager and HR Adviser to maintain and enhance the HR Belfast Intranet
- Demonstrates initiative, confidence, and proactive behaviour
- Possesses exceptional organisational abilities and a keen eye for detail
- Prior experience in administration and client service is a must
- Proficient in PC operations, particularly Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in HR and familiarity with HR systems is advantageous
