**We are looking for an ambitous, resilient, technically-minded salesperson to work wtihin a brillaint, expanding company in South Norfolk.**

The role is a targeted sales position reporting directly to the Sales and Marketing Manager. You will be expected to pro-actively manage your designated sales territory, identifying sales opportunities and nurturing prospects, in order to secure specificationsfor our client’s products and ultimately complete a sale.

An important aspect of this role is developing relationships with key architectural practices and building contractors in your region. This is achieved by delivering Continuing Professional Development, site visits and consulation with your clients, helpingthem specify the correct product and fulfill their brief.

**Company structure**

Our client is a South Norfolk-based sales and manufacturing company operating in the construction industry and home improvement sector, specialising in high specification glass rooflights.

Their customers include architectural practices of all sizes, specification professionals, builders, and national contractors

The company has been established for 25 years and enjoys a multimillion-pound turnover with representation in the UK, across Europe, Ireland and the United States.

**The skillset and attributes you need**
- Highly organised and efficient handling demanding workloads
- Proficient working to, and exceeding commercial sales targets
- Confident delivering technical sales presentations to a professional audience
- Comfortable occasionally working at heights
- Proactive and committed to developing new sales relationships
- Self-motivated and results driven
- Comfortable with travelling to appointments on site and in practice

**What you will be responsible for**
- Meeting all sales targets
- Improve awareness of our client in your territory
- Identify key architects, builders and contractors throughout target area
- Identify large projects and developments being undertaken in target area
- Proactively develop new business opportunities in your territory
- Undertake CPD presentations (training provided)
- Represent our client at corporate events
- Build strong and professional customer relationships
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge for our client’s products and services
- Monitor and report competitor activity
- Develop knowledge of regulations and standards relevant to the industry

**This is a great role either for an established salesperson, or someone from a technical background looking to move into sales and develop their earning potential.**

**Basic salary is £30-£35k DOE with uncapped commission on top. A hybrid role can be considered.
