Working with some exciting global brands, this role will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution and reporting of Midwich Ltd, relevant sister company and industry events within the AV and IT industry. You will work to ensure the experiencefor staff, brands and attendees is 'a cut above the rest’ from start to finish.
The role will report into the Experience and Events Manager, whilst working closely with the Head of Channel Marketing and the wider Marketing team, to deliver a joined up and effective approach for all related parties - ultimately aligning our event strategywith the wider business goals.
This role will also need to work closely with our internal and external Sales teams, assisting with the required collateral and regular updates to help drive relevant footfall for events. Post show it will be the responsibility of the Senior Events Executiveto generate post show reports, covering our ROI and suggested improvements for future events, as well as sharing event leads with both internal staff and external parties (where relevant).**:

- Key Duties**:
**_*Managing Audience Experience - Staff, Reseller, Manufacturer_**:

- Working with the Experience and Events Manager to support events across the Midwich group.
- Assist in managing vendor sign up, marketing budgets and event spaces.
- Co-ordination of venue research and technical specifics, in line with allocated budgets.
- Work with the Experience and Events Manager to ensure that relevant Midwich branding, and messaging is incorporated into event spaces.
- Engage with business Sales teams to ensure the correct tools are available to drive relevant footfall at events - providing regular updates and drivers.
- Attend set up, live days and breakdown of all necessary events, hosted and industry.
- Lead the planning, organisation, and execution of smaller scale 'showcase’ style events across the Midwich group, working with the wider Midwich teams to ensure all parties’ expectations are met.
- Managing the events marketing programme to ensure the level of sign up and objectives are achieved.
- Deliver unrivalled customer experience through the execution of 'white label’ marketing to meet the customer needs, be it manufacturer or reseller.
- Work with the Business Management team to ensure that we capture the right manufacturer information and that it is up to date and accurate for use in communications.
- **Managing Event Marketing**_
- Planning, creating, and communicating a full event marketing plan for all Midwich group and industry involved events.
- Ensuring a wide scope of different marketing activities are used to support event promotion, from digital avenues to printed materials, branded goods, and event merchandise.
- Copywriting marketing assets for design creation, handling of feedback / sign off process and setting live where required.
- Working with the wider Marketing team to brief in assets which require additional assistance, ensuring a detailed and concise brief is provided.
- Where required, reporting and ROI gathering for event marketing activities in quarterly ROI reports for future reference and consideration of success / improvement.
- Creation of a full event report post event for presentation to the Experience and Events Manager and wider Midwich teams, consisting of performance, feedback, and considerations.

- Assist with managing finances in line with the expectation of securing a profit for the Marketing teams overall quarterly figures.
- Responsible for your continuous personal development within the area of Events and current trends that support job performance.
- Take a collaborative approach to ensure delivery of market leading results for the business.

- Key Skills / Qualifications**:

- A degree or equivalent level qualification.
- A recognised professional qualification in Marketing would be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Event Management and Marketing.
- Advertising, digital and CRM marketing knowledge and experience.
- Financial awareness.
- Meeting objectives and deadlines.
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills.
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to successfully multi-task.
- Good attention to detail.
**Please note, full-time remote working is not available for this role. It will be based at our head office in Diss, Norfolk, with a flexible hybrid working from home opportunity available, once the probationary period has been successfully completed.Our hybrid working approach allows employees to work three days from the office and two days from home if they wish to do so.
