Vacancy Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Finance Team and learn all the basics of administering the Financial and Parking systems. The role is varied and interesting, and the team is constantly looking for ways to improve processes and procedures. We offer the chance to use initiative and make positive change.

You will have on-the-job training and must be prepared to become multi-skilled, understanding some Finance, some Parking and some Payroll, along with developing your IT and data analysis skills. This role will be very attractive to someone wanting to start or restart their career in IT.

We are a small but dynamic team in which you will play a crucial role, often being a gatekeeper for the procedures of the council and ensuring our processes are followed. You’ll need to be adaptable, have great attention to detail and accuracy, together with good communication and interpersonal skills. We are here to provide excellent services to the people of Tunbridge Wells, so we are looking for someone with great customer services skills who likes to make a difference to the lives of others.
