Catch22 has designed and delivered services that build resilience and aspiration in people and communities for over 200 years, and the Angus Knight Group is a major provider of human services across Australia and a skills provider in the UK.
With the support and experience of these established organisations, we are building a new approach to helping individuals who may have been out of work for a significant period of time, to find employment.
We have a dedicated team of supportive coaches, skills trainers, occupational health advisors and labour market analysts, all focused on inspiring and motivating individuals to overcome barriers they may have to get back into meaningful and sustainable employment.
As part of a new government initiative, we are working with employers, local government and other partners to deliver tailored support for individuals across several parts of the UK.

**About the Role**
Skills Trainers improve the opportunities of participants by coaching, training and upskilling them to achieve their career goals.
You will develop and deliver training in basic skills and other related areas ensuring that content is accessible to all participants. You will also source and organise training and vocational qualifications for participants (both in-house and external) by liaising with local colleges and training providers.
Skills Trainers provide feedback to participants on assessment results and give an evaluation of their performance. All progress is monitored and recorded against agreed training plans, which you will manage and update.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and influence both the development of the organisational culture and the service design for participants.
You will be based in Nuneaton for 3 days a week and in Tamworth for 2 days a week.
**Skills and Experience Required**
- Experience of working in the employment and skills sector and delivering to specified targets, quality standards and compliance measures is preferred.
- An appropriate training qualification e.g. PTLLS/AET
- A minimum of 2 years experience of developing, coordinating and delivering training programmes.
- Understanding of the vocational qualification framework and familiarity with processes of accrediting bodies.
- Experience of providing advice on appropriate training opportunities.
- Highly organised and adept at optimal time management.
- Team player comfortable working with minimum supervision using personal drive, enthusiasm and presence to succeed.
- Passionate about providing high-quality participant-focused services.
- Effective and clear communicator with excellent presentation skills.
- Desire to work in a new, dynamic start-up organisation, where there is a need to be both creative and pragmatic.
