Celebration of Life is a leading provider of direct cremation funerals and prepaid funeral plans across the UK. Our client is looking for someone with excellent phone manner, compassion and organisation as well as the skills and patience needed to train others.

Training staff is a secondary element of the role, predominantly the position is funeral arranger - unless new staff are being taken on in which case the training role takes over.

**IMPORTANT: We are currently only booking interviews with applicants who have experience as a funeral arranger.**

This role is working from our office in Tamworth. Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm (Includes 1 hour lunch) with 2 weekend days working from home on-call per month (8am - 6pm) in lieu of 2 week days at the office per month.

**What you need**:

- Strong ability in using computer systems (all work is online)
- Great organisation skills and ability to multi-task and leave clear notes for yourself if calls are busy
- Quiet surrounding to make and receive calls at home
- Ability to get to work in Tamworth each day
- Calm, compassionate and professional phone manner
- Skills needed to patiently and effectively train new members of staff on the role

**Full training is provided for the role, though previous experience as a funeral arranger is a requirement.**

**The job role**:

- Receive predominantly inbound calls from people who either need to arrange a cremation for someone who has died, or for people who are looking for a prepaid funeral plan for themself or someone else.
- Input data from website enquiries or orders onto the CRM
- Arrange direct cremations for people over the phone
- Take funeral plan orders over the phone
- Take payments and setup direct debits over the phone
- Liaise with funeral directors, doctors, crematoriums, trade partners and our logistics teams
- General administration of ongoing orders
- Complete regulatory ongoing training
- When new staff are taken on for a customer care role, provide 1 week in-house crash course training to them

**Holiday**:
30 days paid holiday - public holidays are not automatic and must be booked if required as holiday.

**Overtime**:
There is overtime available for staff who would like to earn more. This includes extra weekend cover as well as night cover. Some overtime is required and paid over and above salary.

**Salary**: £26,000.00 per year
