I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Compliance Coordinator to join a market leading animal food manufacturer.

They are seeking an experienced Compliance Coordinator to report directly to the Operations Manager. This is a key position for the delivery of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance, along with process innovation and continuous improvementinitiatives across all functions. It will play an important role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology and the supporting framework to deliver business transformation.

- Previous experience within a compliance, H&S, auditing or Quality role
- Production or manufacturing experiencewithin a food environment
- Animal feed production experience is highly desirable
- Proven experience of managing compliance documentation
- Strong analytical, project and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements
- An understanding of milling operations and processes is highly desirable
- A understanding of Continuous improvements concepts is highly desirable
- Approachable, willing to listen and actively encourage subordinates to contribute to the success of the team
- Lead by example and demonstrates a strong work ethic
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience of managing multiple stakeholders across all levels of the organisation, ideally in the context of implementing major operational change
- A ‘completer-finisher’ taking accountability for ideas from inception to delivery, in an environment that requires robust metrics to confirm success
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent planning and organisational skills

**Duties and Responsibilities;**
- Lead site meetings relating to HSE & quality and represent the site on regional & national calls/meetings
- Governance of the HSE & Quality compliance systems
- Coordinate all aspects of the internal and external audit processes connected with HSE & Quality
- Support the Site Senior Team with closing out actions and non-compliance relating to HSE & Quality
- Identify and deliver service improvement activity across the business through employing Lean methodologies
- Work with key business stakeholders to build a continuous improvement environment supporting an on-going programme of change
- Lead and facilitate lean/process improvement-based workshops to drive ideas and solutions
- Support the delivery of added value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of all wastes within the site
- Identify trends and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement monitoring system
- Take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery via internal governance and controls
- Complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects.
- Where applicable, facilitate the annual roster reviews for all site personnel, working closely with the site management team to review and align where necessary.
