**Role Summary**:
Responsible for consolidation and review of monthly accounts, budgets, and periodic forecasts in a timely and accurate manner. To support the Global Finance Function in maintaining compliance with Group and reporting standards, delegation of authority, segregation of duties and internal controls. To assist in ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting across the divisional entities. To coordinate period balance sheet reviews and ensure actions are flowed up and completed. To carry out ad hoc internal audits and post investment reviews. Ensure reporting is provided in a timely and accurate manner whilst providing insight on key areas of business performance.

**Main Responsibilities and Tasks**:

- Consolidation and review of financial reporting submissions
- Treasury - cash forecast consolidation, validation, and currency management
- Support the regional and divisional controllers to ensure compliance with Group policy and accounting standards
- Ad hoc internal audits and post investment reviews
- Ensure consistency in reporting across the divisional companies (chart of accounts, posting controls etc)
- Ensure BS reconciliations are completed for active companies
- Coordinate periodic BS review meetings and ensure agreed actions are completed
- Maintain delegation of authority and audit compliance
- Segregation of duties including access to IT systems including ERP
- Payroll cover for UK entities
**Knowledge and Skills**:
**Essential**:

- Qualified (ACCA / CIMA)
- 1-2 years' post qualified experience working in a commercial finance role
- Attention to detail, highly organised and able to work to deadlines
- Professional approach with excellent team working and communication skills
- Ability to use own initiative to address problems and present solutions
**Desirable**:

- Audit / internal audit / accounting practice experience.
- Strong IT skills; Microsoft Office, ERP Systems
- Examples of reporting, presenting work or making improvements

**Education and Qualifications**:

- Qualified Accountant
- A-Levels
- GCSE English and Maths - Grade C or above.

- To avoid improvised arrangements and suggest safe ways of eliminating hazards.
- Not to participate in horseplay or place fellow employees in danger by their actions.
