We have a new role for a Commercial Finance Administrator to join a company based just outside of Melton.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 36.25 hours paid week, with 45 min lunch break per day.

Reporting to the Head of Commercials and working within our support office you will have a key role in supporting the team throughout a full project lifecycle from tender to invoice stage.
We are looking for an experienced commercial and/or finance administrator ideally from a construction or production background to help support a busy team with the following:

- Split role across 2 departments with a key role in sharing information between the commercial and finance teams.
- Updating the company tender tracker on Excel.
- Using our in-house database system to log tender values and references.
- Logging purchase orders across our filings systems and updating the relevant Build Manager within our Operations Team to inform them of PO receipt.
- Run reports from our inhouse database and calendar system including - Monthly reconciliation reports for the Finance Team, a daily report on completed works to build the month end valuation and others.
- Check incoming supplier invoices against original PO’s raised. Raise queries. Alter PO’s as required.
- Add valuations to the relevant invoicing sheets and check against PO’s.
- Assist with raising invoices to clients at month end.

Our Commercial team operate a system using Excel and an in-house database so experience of Microsoft packages and learning new systems would be essential. Our finance team have recently moved to Xero and so this would also be preferred.

**Salary**: £25-£28K

Holiday: 20 days + 4/5 over Christmas closure + Bank Holidays.
