The team requires a Housing Coordinator housing to undertake home visits as part of the borough's homeless prevention initiative. The housing coordinator will attend service user's addresses to provide mediation to hosts ejecting family members, inspect for issues of disrepair and employ the homeless prevention strategy to those seeking homeless assistance.

You should have considerable knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation and in delivering housing access and homelessness services.

Experience of dealing with Homelessness Legislation as it affects Landlord/Tenant Relationships or Homelessness is also required for this role.

- Considerable knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation and in delivering housing access and homelessness services
- Experience of dealing with Homelessness Legislation as It affects Landlord/Tenant Relationships or Homelessness
- Experience of working with Homeless People
- Knowledge Of Part 7 Of The 1996 Housing Act And The Homelessness Act 2002
- Mediation & Negotiation Skills
- Some relevant experience in a similar role, preferably housing or other homelessness services to vulnerable people and minority groups.
