Learning Support Assistant (SEN Teaching Assistant)

We are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join a school in the Guildford area (South).
Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 to 15:30.
The school caters for children aged 4 to 16 and is a mixed primary and secondary school with 124 students that display low level of challenging behaviour. The students have a variety of Special Educational Needs which include Autism, Down’s Syndrome, moderate to severe learning difficulties and some Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. What sets this school apart is the strong focus on core learning skills and communication but also the facilities to do creative arts in the dance studio and in drama lessons. Furthermore, the students engage in horticulture looking after animals and keeping a vegetable garden.
You will be offered training and continuous development opportunities throughout your career with this school as they are committed to and value their staff. The Headteacher and Senior Leadership team is hands-on and will be able to support you as well as all staff members will.
