**About us**:
The Education Team is a dedicated section of the Institute of Neurology Central Administration Team, responsible for all areas of student administration; the team is comprised of administrators, academics, and clinical academics with an interest in teaching.

The team manages a portfolio of Taught Graduate Courses (+200 students registered) and provides administrative, pastoral, and academic support to over 300 research students registered at ION.

The Education Team promotes best practice in the design and delivery of teaching and research supervision on site, in line with UCL policies and procedures.

**About the role**:
We are recruiting a Research Degree Programme Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Departmental Graduate Tutor and all research students (approx. 300).

You will have overall control of progress and monitoring for all students, harmonising processes and being the main contact for all stakeholders. Responsibilities include student recruitment, processing of offers, enrolment, organising induction activities, organising bespoke courses, preparing handbooks, maintaining webpages and Moodle pages, assisting with student queries, liaising with potential applicants, arranging and servicing associated committees, providing information to colleagues across UCL as appropriate, assisting with the production of student statistics, completion of engagement monitoring exercises, and the preparation of reports.

The role is available from 01 September 2023 and is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 60-80% of time on site.

**About you**:
You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant work experience. You’ll be able to effectively problem-solve, use your own initiative and will have excellent communication skills. Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to negotiate at all levels, to work co-operatively in a multidisciplinary setting, and deal with sensitive and confidential matters with tact and discretion are also required for this role.
