- Reporting to the Deputy Company Secretary, in this role you will provide a professional, efficient and best in class company secretarial service to the Group, including liaising across corporate office and all divisions, with senior members of staff (including Board Directors), other colleagues of the wider Group and counterparties as necessary.**In your day-to-day role as a**
**Company Secretarial Assistant, you will**:

- Lead on the administration of the VBG plc and Vanquis Bank Ltd Nomination Committee, including agenda preparation, paper collation and issuance, meeting attendance and minute taking and action tracking.
- Draft Board/committee papers on governance issues.
- Undertake the Board administration for our Moneybarn and Cheque Exchange subsidiaries, scheduling meeting and undertaking the end-to-end administration process.
- Attend Pension Trustee and Pension Governance Committee meetings and take minutes of those meetings.
- With oversight of the Senior Assistant Company Secretary, play a lead role on subsidiary administration, making amendments to company registers, filing necessary forms and documents at Companies House (including Confirmation Statements, PSC changes, Annual Reports).
- Play a lead role in relation to the Board evaluation, engaging with the Chairman as required.
- Play a lead role in the maintenance and use of the Board Skills Matrix.
