Hotel Receptionist

Boutique Hotel Group owns three luxury hotels and wedding venues set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic **Receptionist **to join our team at Inglewood Manor.
We are recruiting both part time and full time - 24-40 hours per week.
**Your main duties & responsibilities will be**:
- To assist in the smooth operation of all areas of the Reception department.
- To ensure a warm welcome to all guests both in person and by telephone, following relevant procedures.
- To check guests in and out and process payments accurately.
- To use Reslynx system to manage guest reservations and follow hotel policy for cancellations and no-shows.
- To be fully aware of all rates and promotions and to quote such rates in line with hotel revenue strategy, ensuring maximum occupancy and rate are achieved at all times.
- To chase unconfirmed bookings
- To respond to any guest requests efficiently and effectively.
- To be responsible for switchboard operation, transferring phone calls to correct extension and taking accurate messages.
- To collect, post, and balance payments to the Rezlynx system, and cash up at the end of the shift.
- To inform guests of amenities available as well as pertinent hotel information at all times.
- To maintain the front desk area in a neat, organized, and stocked manner at all times.
- To follow all hotel policy and procedures, including SOP’s, HR and H&S.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer care
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A get up and go attitude
- Previous reception and Reslynx experience would be desirable although full training will be given

This role involves working weekdays, weekends, evenings and bank holidays, between 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm.
**Start date TBC. Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in the UK in order to be considered for this position.**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-40 per week
**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
