**Duties and responsibilities**
- To actively manage the image transfer processes
- To actively manage RIS/PACS housekeeping tasks '“ training provided on how to use these systems.
- Ensure that the transfer of patient data follows department protocols and is in keeping with Information Governance regulations
- Troubleshoot issues relating to Imaging IT liaising with the department, Spire IT and system suppliers to rectify quickly and efficiently
- Act as the first point of contact for the Imaging equipment multivendor service ensuring that all equipment is serviced and maintained correctly, and imaging equipment is available for servicing
- Develop own personal development
- **Who we're looking for**
- Ideally has come from a similar position looking to progress within their career '“ IT Helpdesk role.
- Education to GCSE standard to include English (Grade C or above) or equivalent relevant experience. No IT Qualification required but would be highly desirable.
- IT Literate - Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Experience of planning work and acting under instruction
- Caring for others and empathy with sick and vulnerable patients.
- Team working with the ability to work at your own initiative as well.
- Flexible and adaptable with an enthusiastic approach to work.
- Initiative and ownership
- Empathy for principles and importance of equality and dignity at work
