Currently seeking a Endoscopy Decontamination Driver to act as an excellent team member of the Decontamination team and representative we are seeking an Endoscopy Driver Technician

The endoscopy working environment is unpredictable and the post holder is expected to be flexible in their work pattern.

Main Responsibilities
- Shall ensure vehicles are driven in line with all current applicable legislation, company policies and procedures.
- Shall ensure daily Health and Safety vehicle inspections are carried out to ensure the vehicle is in a road worthy condition and replenish with fuel, oil, air and water as necessary, including the completion of appropriate records.

To check brake fluid and anti-freeze monthly and to log and report any defects and accidents to the line Manager.
- To report all traffic accidents involving any company vehicle to the company insurer immediately in accordance with their requirements in addition to notifying line manager.
- To ensure that vehicles are only used on authorised journeys.
- To be responsible for the safe carriage of goods to comply with the basic rules of the Transport Act 1968.
- Maintain and organise planned preventative maintenance i.e. servicing of all company vehicles and organise alternative vehicle cover when necessary.
- Undertake weekly inspection of vehicles for damage and cleanliness inside and out.
- Maintain effective control of vehicle mileage logs and petrol cards and submit the mileage records to the Senior Supervisor - Endoscopy Decontamination, on a weekly basis
