The Endoscopy Manager role at our independent private Hospital in leafy St Johns Wood offers the exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with Gastroenterology/Endoscopy experience to take on a leadership position within the Endoscopy Suite.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating high-quality Endoscopy care, leading the team, and ensuring the day-to-day management and co-ordination of the Endoscopy service.
Located just minutes from Central London, our Hospital has been recognized as the top care provider in the country in the latest Bupa survey. Moreover, all profits fund our onsite Hospice, St Johns.
Is this Endoscopy Manager role right for you?
- Registered Nurse with a Nursing qualification (ENB906 or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Endoscopy Nurse
- Experience in the Independent sector and with clinical audits
- Teaching/Mentorship qualification
Responsibilities of the Endoscopy Manager:
- Manage the endoscopy service to deliver high-quality patient-centered care
- Work with the Theatre Manager to maintain appropriate staff and clinical skill mix
- Maintain a safe environment and address any issues affecting patient care and safety
- Provide specialist advice and support as needed
- Ensure availability of equipment and resources for endoscopy procedures
- Participate in maintenance and decontamination of specialized equipment
- Monitor and optimize endoscopy session utilization
