Job Title - Qualified Social Worker - Fostering Team

Location - Civic Centre, Hartlepool Borough Council (3 days per week), Remote Work (2 days per week)

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting assessments and providing ongoing support to foster carers
- Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children in care
- Undertaking statutory visits and reviews of foster placements
- Participating in the recruitment and training of foster carers
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with departmental policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
- Experience working within a fostering or children's social care setting
- Strong assessment and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children
