Talent and Capability Manager

**About the Role**
As Talent and Capability Manager at Unipart Logistics you will provide effective learning and development support to UL employees at all levels, through the delivery of Talent and Capability interventions in line with our business strategy, people strategy, and learning methodology.
**As part of your key responsibilities you'll**:
- Partner Business Unit Leadership Teams to develop Talent and Capability plans, to drive high performance
- Work with HR Team to diagnose and support functional and new business capability requirements, ensuring clear contracting to deliver via the 70:20:10 model.
- Play a key leadership role in the Central Talent and Capability team, ensuring thought leadership and external best practice is shared and adopted where appropriate
- Design, deliver, and evaluate training and development interventions following the 70:20:10 model, aligned to UL people strategy and business priorities
- Liaise with HR teams and business stakeholders at all levels regarding TNA, design and delivery of technical and behavioural interventions
- Liaise with UL Communications team and Unipart Way Online to share success stories and best practise
- Design and facilitate team development sessions
- Develop, implement, and deliver innovative digital solutions for Capability and Talent
- Effectively develop content as appropriate to Unipart standard and share across Unipart Logistics and Group
- Coach learners and mentor Organisational Capability Champions/Leads as required
- Coach senior leaders as required to support development activities and career pathways
- Support Unipart Group Talent and Capability projects as required
**About You**
**Essential**:
- Worked on large scale programmes in an operational environment
- Able to design training programmes in a brain friendly manner, aligned to digital delivery
- Credible and engaging training presenter
- Proven facilitation skills, able to deliver with credibility at all levels
- Coaching and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong planning, organising and time management skills
- Ability to influence at a senior management level
- Self-motivated - able to work on own initiative whilst balancing the need to involve others for maximum effectiveness
- IT literate (Advanced Level PowerPoint, Intermediate Word, Excel)
- MBTI Step I Qualified and or Insights Practitioner
- Competent in Learning Management Systems (ideally Moodle)
**Desirable**:
- Relevant Degree qualification
- Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning and Development (CIPD Level 5) or equivalent
- Coaching and mentoring qualification (ILM)
- Worked in a large scale logistics environment
- Understanding of lean principles
- SHL Level A and B
- Hogan's Darkside Behaviours
