**Job summary**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable person to join our Maternity Governance team who is able to work flexibly within the team.

It is essential that you have been educated to GSCE English and Mathematics or equivalent and possess NVQ3 In business administration and experience of working with a range of Microsoft office packages. You will have an understanding of the risk management process and incident reporting process and management alongside the information system.

It is essential the post holder has good time management skills and ability to multitask and ability to deal with competing demands from staff, patients and public in a professional manner. Experience of working in health care is desirable

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
The main duties of the role are and ability to analyse and extract complex data sets from a number of different sources. Ability to make decisions and take actions within the team relating to routine enquires, whilst receiving support and supervision. Undertake work that has been prioritised by the Line Manager/Matron.

Ability to recognise situations that should be referred onto the Supervisor/Line Manager and take prompt and appropriate action. Organise own day to day work tasks showing an ability to prioritise in order to achieve set timescales. Co-ordinate and arrange meetings, conferences etc. including diary management to ensure availability and attendance and book and monitor room bookings
