**Main duties include**:
Telephone

Answer incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner and dispersing to the correct member of staff

Visitors

Welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner

Sales

Assist with credit checking new clients, setting them up on the computer system, sending out necessary paperwork etc

Setting up project files and assisting with the transition of any new project from the Sales team to the Contracts team

Contracts

Ordering materials and access for projects, as required

Assisting with travel arrangements for operatives
- booking/cancelling hotels as directed, train tickets etc

Assisting the contracts team with site specific admin requirements

Vehicle Fleet

Ensure vehicles are maintained to a roadworthy condition

Ensure drivers are competent to drive, hold a valid driving licence & are suitably insured

Management systems(quality, environmental, information security & H&S)

Analysis of data

Competence, awareness & training

Customer satisfaction

H&S
Issuing site audits, inspections, TBTs, PPE, training etc

Liaise with site operative to produce weekly inspection reports of all site access/equipment

General
Ensure all equipment is in good working order, organising servicing & maintenance as required

Ensure stationery/stock levels are adequate, ordering new stock as/when required

Ensure filing is kept up to date daily, monitor & archive as required

Printing drawings for the estimating and contracts teams

**Qualifications**:
GCSE Maths - Grade C or above
GCSE English - Grade C or above

**Knowledge**:
As Business Administration Apprentice, you should be willing to learn to:

- Complete Level 3 of the Business Administration Apprenticeship programme
- Work to the standards set within the quality management system
- Comply with all environmental, security and safety arrangements and procedures
- Show good communication skills with clients/potential clients
- Telephone
- Face to face
- Prioritise workloads using good organisation skills
- Work effectively & efficiently, both individually and as part of a team, maintaining effective relationships with colleagues and clients

Apprenticeship Level 3 in Business Administration will be provided by Stepping Stones Education & Training.

**Salary**: From £5.28 per hour
