An opportunity has arisen to join the Blood Sciences team based in the Pathology department at Scunthorpe General Hospital.

We are seeking a flexible, enthusiastic, self-organised and motivated individual to join our team, to help deliver point of care pathology services across the Trust.

The department has a strong commitment to training and supports individual staff development.

The post will be based in the Blood Sciences laboratory at Scunthorpe General Hospital/Diana Princess of Wales Hospital Grimsby. The successful applicant will assume responsibility for maintaining and developing point of care services across the Trust

You will be required to have good scientific and technical skills, strong communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to work under pressure.

We’re a large organisation with three hospitals located in Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Goole. We also provide community services in North Lincolnshire. Our 6,500 members of staff care for and support a population of more than 400,000 people.
