**WHAT TO EXPECT**

As a Virtual Build Planning Lead, you’ll establish trusting relationships with Engineering and Build teams to ensure we deliver quality data (an aligned and Validated CAD & Part Bill of Material) to key prototype build events.

The role includes the Co-ordination and delivery of multiple workstreams across Engineering Operations to ensure engineering data is aligned and delivered on time to enable physical build starts, with ZERO issues passed to the build. This will be done through technical planning, issue and risk management, reporting on technical status, presenting outcomes and leading issue resolution reviews.

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Co-ordinating delivery and alignment of the required engineering data to enable build start across multiple projects and data sources. Workstreams include: Engineering BoM(CAD), Plan For Every Part, BoM Validation, Part to Order BoM
- Owning the delivery of buildable Engineering BoM (CAD) that enables physical prototype builds for: Full Vehicle protype, full powertrain unit prototypes (Battery & EDU), vehicle & powertrain prototype rig’s.
- Manage any risks or issues to builds via program impediment reviews and build ‘board walks’
- Lead CAD quality issue resolution reviews with key stakeholders and customers.
- Co-Ordinate a cross functional team to delivery all required data pre build.
- Supervisor for a Virtual Build Planning Analyst. Responsible for line management duties as well as daily workload and performance management to achieve the delivery of buildable CAD.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**

**Essential**:

- Knowledge of automotive Bill of Materials
- Technical automotive understanding (Vehicle & Powertrain content)
- Technical project management experience, with an ability to manage multiple complex workstreams. Able to show evidence of planning & delivery.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to communicate complex topics in a simple way.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills in approaching technical issue resolution.
- Effective leader of people, both direct and non-direct reports, with strong interpersonal skills.
- A highly driven, self-motivated individual with capability to deliver results under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work across functional teams and influence decisions.
