Events and Project Support Co-ordinator

We have an exciting opportunity to join the university’s Career Service’s Employer Engagement Team. The Events and Project Support Co-ordinator’s role is to co-ordinate the delivery of careers and graduate and student recruitment events many of which will occur on campus. This involves scheduling event requests appropriately, assisting with event organization (both virtual and in-person), liaising with the university’s Conferencing Team, ensuring events are promoted and marketed in a timely manner and providing a “meet and greet” service for graduate recruiters arriving on campus to run their presentations and attraction events. The role also plays an important part in supporting the organization and delivery of the Careers Service’s many careers fairs across the academic year.
We are looking for someone with experience of events management and organization, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with confidence liaising with a wide variety of people from across different commercial sectors. Experience of the graduate recruitment market would be welcome.
