Project Assistant

**Overview**

Due to company expansion and recent internal promotion, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Project Assistant (or someone who has experience in a similar role with transferable skills) to join our expanding projects team.
Our aim is to provide a one stop shop for our clients, simplifying gas, water and electric connections. This role sits within our Project Engineering team and includes coordination of tender enquiries, preparing safety job packs, preparing asset installation completion files and submission and co-ordination of road opening licences.
Experience is preferred, but full training will be given.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Preparation and issuing of construction job work packs
- Creating asset installation completion documentation for asset adoption by network operators
- Road opening and traffic management submission and co-ordination
- Sourcing utility drawings for safe dig operations
- Supporting the project engineering team in delivering project activities
- Other ad hoc work as required in support of PWG activities
You need to be a dynamic and energetic individual. Once you’ve received the necessary training you should be able to work with minimum supervision, taking responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of the work you undertake.
The role is office based and requires good communication and an ability to work under pressure. It would be advantageous to be familiar with the construction industry.

**Skills Required**:
- You will have a minimum of 3 GCSE’s 4-8/A*-C (or equivalent) including Maths & English
- Proficient in MS Office skills (required)
- A basic understanding of design software such as AutoCAD (Desirable)
- Full driving licence - must be able to get transport to our main office at Ashington
