HR Coordinator

You will be accountable for coordinating new employee onboarding, employee lifecycle and employee relations tasks, delivered through a customer service approach. Acting as the first point of contact for HR related queries from colleagues, managers and external partners, you will deliver a comprehensive service and ensuring high quality outcomes are met throughout our HR processes.
The role is approx. 40% recruitment and onboarding, 40% ER and employee lifecycle, 20% projects, queries and other tasks. We can offer hybrid working with 3 days in our Swindon office and 2 days from home.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Process all starters, leavers, movers, completing all required documentation to ensure best practice and legal compliance.
Support key stakeholders in the coordination of the probation process, providing guidance (referring to HRBPs wherever necessary) and outcome letters.
Coordination of all contract changes and our leavers process. Updating the HR system and sending appropriate letters.
Responding to external reviews on external forums such as Glassdoor and Indeed.
Contribute and lead on continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
Manage the HR inbox, responding to queries, escalating actions and higher level queries to the relevant area (e.g. HRBP, payroll), using considerable judgement and awareness of ER issues.
Carry out general administrative tasks for the HR team, including sorting post, telephone answering (and ensuring we redirect queries appropriately and do not provide advice, e.g.: HR advice to HRBPs, pay/tax queries to payroll), answering the reception door (and ensuring visitors are collected)
Provide reports for the purpose of auditing, analysing, and monitoring colleague data.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in an HR administrative and customer focused role
Ideally have detailed knowledge of Right to Work legislation
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel would be highly beneficial
Experience of working on an applicant tracking system or similar
Strong understanding of HR processes and procedures
Competent in drafting high quality business letters
Experienced user of HR databases
Experience of drafting contracts would be advantageous
CIPD qualification (level 5) desirable
