Job Title: Administration and Finance Officer

As an Administration and Finance Officer, your role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operations of our organisation's administrative and financial functions. You will contribute directly to the smooth running of daily business activities by managing administrative tasks and providing crucial support in financial management and reporting. Your efforts will be instrumental in maintaining compliance, optimising processes, and supporting the overall effectiveness of our organisation.

**Administrative Responsibilities**
- Manage office operations, including supplies, equipment, and facilities maintenance.
- Provide general administrative duties - filing, printing, copying,
- Provide a reception service through meeting and greeting of beneficiaries and visitors.
- Liaise with partner organisations around any bookings for events/provision.
- Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff.
- Maintain organisational files and records, both electronic and physical.
- First point of contact for building issues, and co-ordinate progress.

**Financial Responsibilities**
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, budgets, and expense reports.
- Monitor financial transactions.
- Responsible for petty cash including recording and monitoring aligned with current procedures.
- Support financial audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

**General Support**
- Provide general administrative support to management and other staff as needed.
- Assist in the implementation of administrative policies and procedures.
- Liaise with suppliers, and service providers.
- Maintain records of room bookings and prepare rooms as required.
- Support the organisation with delivery of events.
- Maintain project records for effective monitoring and evaluation.
- Create and maintain accurate records of session attendance and feedback based on data gathered by project leads.
- Support raising awareness of the organisation through social media, website, and paper systems.
- Uphold confidentiality and data protection regulations in handling sensitive information and documents.
- Keep IT systems updated.
- Play a part in maintaining Health & Safety and Safeguarding of staff, volunteers, and beneficiaries at all times.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,893.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 22.5 per week
