Are you an expert in perioperative practice with a passion to share this expertise with others? The opportunity has arisen for Band 7 Practice Educators within Perioperative Care Services.

You will have the opportunity to take a lead role in the implementation of training, support and education for Theatre staff across all grades. You will have proven clinical experience within the perioperative sphere and will use your knowledge to motivate, enable, and empower staff to deliver safe and excellent practice. This is a clinical role that requires exceptional leadership and communication skills to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

To aid the development and coordination of training for students, including apprentices, and qualified staff both clinically and in the role of Practice Educator within all the Theatres clinical areas.

To act as a link person with both HEI’s and other external education providers, as well as with the wider Education teams for Perioperative Services at CUH.

To actively contribute to and assist in the development, implementation and continuous running of the MSc level programme at CUH-Theatres in partnership with HEI.
