Behaviour Therapist

**Self-employed** Behaviour therapist required to work 1 to 1 with a teenager with autism. This is an established programme overseen by an experienced BCBA consultant. Experienced tutors are preferred, but less experienced tutors are also considered as training is provided. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are needed.
Role: 1:1 ABA tutor to provide quality ABA therapy, and ABA provision that home and in outdoor activities.
Main Duties:
to work as a team with the Lead ABA tutor, consultant, other ABA tutors, SENCo, Speech and Language Therapist (SLT), Occupational Therapist (OT) and parents to support the child.
to work alongside SLT and OT to deliver sessions and embed targets into the programme.
to provide support at lunchtime and at playtime to facilitate peer interaction and appropriate play.
to teach independence using principles of ABA
to attend and participate in workshops and meetings.
to record data on progress, behaviour and any additional data requested by the consultant and report to other professionals and parents as agreed.
to undertake any necessary training as required.
to be aware of and comply with school policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
Enhanced DBS will be required.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 10 per week
**Salary**: £9.00-£20.00 per hour
