**The Role**:
We're looking for an experienced Collections Team Leader to join our Collections department at Capital on Tap in Cardiff. The primary role of the team leads will be to drive performance and development for team members in a supportive, trusting, transparent and accountable environment. Your team's success is your success. This means how well they do and how happy they are. Use your management and leadership skills to build a positive and driven team culture. Our goal is to provide the best customer service in the industry.

We expect our team leads to spend their time developing the skills and capabilities of their teams. This role suits someone with a Collections background and has previous Team Leader/Management experience, and wishes to hone and further expand that skillset, elevating others and thriving off team success.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for leading a team of up to 8 Collections Agents as they work towards providing the best possible outcomes for our customers and our business
- Developing the skills of existing team members, identifying areas for improvement and leveraging individual and team forums (1-1s, coaching sessions, huddles, team meetings, etc) to affect positive change
- Follow closely the current structure and best practices for the Collections department
- Monitoring, analysing and updating stakeholders on key metrics related to performance and individual and team attainment

**What we're looking for**
- Collections and leadership experience is a must
- Meticulous attention to detail in order to know when things are not working as designed
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback, including 'managing up'
- A burning ambition to succeed demonstrated by wins in previous/current roles
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to keep morale high and be a cheerleader for your team
