We are currently looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to join our fantastic Innovation Team You will support and report into the Personal Assistant for Innovation and Capital Projects with a primary focus on managing travel and business expenses

This is a permanent role, you’ll be based at our Power Station in Selby, North Yorkshire. We can offer this role as hybrid working, along with having fixed days in the office each week

**About the role**

You’ll be working with and supporting an incredibly dynamic team You’ll be ensuring that they get to where they need to be when they need to be

Your key responsibilities will be to arrange travel both domestically and internationally. This team like to travel and to travel frequently

With your experience, you’ll be using our in-house travel booking system to work to tight travel agendas and deadlines. You’ll also need to be creative when itineraries change, sometimes at the last minute and to always make sure that travel is always booked efficiently and on time.

You’ll be confident with working across a number of key stakeholders across the business with different approaches and requirements - communication is key

In this essential support role, you’ll support with all general administration and reporting and supporting your Line Manager with any meeting related activities.

From time to time, we do arrange our own team events, so this will be your opportunity to get involved in all the planning arrangements that are required for these events

**About you**

Essential to this role is that you have experience as an administrator, working within a dynamic, complex and fast paced team

As this role does focus highly on arranging travel, you’ll demonstrate your experience of arranging and planning both domestic and international travel.

You’ll also demonstrate your brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail with your experience within a similar role

You’ll be a fantastic communicator and have excellent planning skills as well as being a pro-active thinker with the experience and confidence of being creative and thinking outside the box

Experience of using systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Maximo will also be very beneficial to the role
