Led by a team of industry-experienced clinicians, we have substantial expertise in mitigating offshore and occupational health risks as well leading on the health component of any offshore health event or emergency. Today we support over 140 offshore sites in UKCS, 60 of which are O&G producing assets.

**Job Overview**:
To maintain a state of medical emergency preparedness and provide routine health care to all personnel onboard assigned installation/vessel/work site in accordance with International SOS Medic Standing Orders (MSO) and at all times abiding by a code of conduct and principles of medical confidentiality as per legislative requirements.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Medical- Provide onsite routine health care and advice to offshore personnel in line with International SOS MSOs
- Provide onsite emergency medical care 24 hours per day in line with International SOS MSOs
- Seek appropriate and timely consultation/advice from Topside service
- Arrange any required Medevac cases in accordance with International SOS and Client site protocols
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times, supported with clear and concise medical records in line with International SOS Records and Record Keeping Policy, also maintain the sickbay attendance log, including Patient information on medications taken and known allergies
- Lead first aid team and co-ordinate all first aid team activities and regular training
- Support rescue and treatment of patients in offshore wind turbines
- Deliver regular Health Awareness and Health Promotion activities
- Provide Offshore Medicals
- Administer flu vaccines as and when required
- Sick Bay / Site- Maintain stock levels of all medications, including safe custody of controlled drugs and maintenance of controlled drugs register, in accordance with International SOS MSO
- Management of clinical waste and routine cleaning of the sick bay
- Ensure all medical equipment and gases are functional, regularly inspected and maintained, including calibration of required items in accordance with manufacturers guidelines
- Maintain all eye wash, earplug, and lens cleaning stations First Aid stations
- Sickbay Equipment
- Industrial Hygiene Support- Noise Sampling
- HAVs
- COSHH Management
- Administrative Duties- Complete a comprehensive handover, wherever required, at the end of each trip
- Awareness of IADC and OSHA Guidelines
- Any other duties as required by management
- Support incident reporting (Synergi Life) and maintenance of HSE Management system (Doc map, ARIS)

**Skills, Experience & Qualifications**:

- Required Skills and Knowledge- HSE Offshore Medics Course
- MIST
- Computer literacy

- Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
- Keen interest in Safety, minimum looking towards achieving NEBOSH General Certificate
- Analysis and problem solving
- Required ability to travel by sea
- Ability to work at heights (WTG)
- Additional Training- GWO Medical and Chester step test
- GWO Basic safety Training - 5 Modules
- HUET
- HAVS
- Health Surveillance
- COSHH
- NEMS Noise at Work Competent Person
- Anaphylaxis training
- Influenza training (Seasonal)
- Required Qualifications / Work Experience- Registered Nurse (Adult), with at least 3 years post-graduation experience within one or more of: A&E, ICU, HDU, OOH’s Service, ANP, Medical or Surgical Assessment Unit, AND at least one of those years in a prehospital service
- Required Languages- English
- Travel / Rotation Requirements- Eligible to work, or resident, in the UK
- Work on a rotational basis, as required by the client.
