**Technical Advisor - Property Maintenance Services**

**Essential information on experience**:
This role will benefit someone who has experience in property maintenance and refurbishment industry. It will also benefit someone who has worked on the tools but is looking to work in an office environment.

**Job purpose summary**:
To work within the technical team liaising with engineers and preparing reports and quotations following engineers’ attendances. The role involves finding suitable parts based on the engineers’ reports.

**Main responsibilities**:
1. Discussing reports with engineers in order to formulate a quote for the client

2. Discussing with client any queries they may have with the technical specification of the quote issued

3. Assisting Engineers/ advising them regarding the correct parts

4. General day to day advice and assistance to the fleet team/ Engineers

5. Taking ownership and handling the communication on job from start to finish where the remit falls within technical department

6. Updating clients with progress of works for larger jobs

7. Gaining knowledge of prioritising jobs / reports by urgency

**Key skills required**:
1. Excellent customer service skills, especially when approaching clients

2. Excellent telephone manners and professional call handling skills

3. Strong time management skills and working with tight deadlines

4. Good organisation skills for prioritising jobs and managing workload

5. Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and word

6. Ability to undertake tasks and accept responsibilities in relation to these from beginning to completion

**Advantageous skills**:
1. Confident to speak with engineers to get updates on the jobs and communicate to client

2. Knowledge of London postcodes

3. Knowledge of the building industry and associated types of engineers with knowledge of roles and trades

4. Experience of working in a similar environment and managing people and clients’ portfolios (preferable)

5. Knowledge of London suppliers

**Additional background information**:
This is a full-time permanent position

Holidays - 28 days per annum

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
