**About the role**
Working in the Worcestershire countryside, looking after orchards to produce apples for our delicious brands, such as Bulmers, Strongbow and Inchs; we’re looking for an Orcharding Team Leader to join the team. Our team Leaders coordinate and oversee the safe and efficient operational performance to ensure our orchards are in full health and our fruit is meeting our quality standards.

We’re looking for someone with leadership experience as you’ll be supervising the team to ensure the farm plan is delivered by providing regular follow-ups and active encouragement to keep the team on track.

Some of the tasks that’ll keep you busy include:

- Lead day-to-day activities and first-level escalation, deputising for the Farm Manager
- Maintain high standards of environmental control by ensuring compliance with all relevant governing bodies' guidance and Codes of Practice. Working in accordance with HEINEKEN guidance and taking required actions
- Identify and diagnose areas of concern, including orchard pest & disease and tree health, and agree a course of action
- Operate and interrogate the Orcharding Maintenance system. Ensure all equipment, land and buildings are well maintained. Equipment must be tested, calibrated and in a safe working order and records maintained
- Ensure all machinery and tools are maintained and in safe working order, following daily check procedures in conjunction with manufacturer's guidelines and Heineken polices
- Be the contact point for neighbours and ensure they are notified of any activities which may affect them
