**THE BUSINESS**

The Nest at Little Verzons Farm is a unique Farm Shop, Café, Events venue and Garden Centre set in 14 acres of beautifully re-wilded farmland. Our outdoor space consists of a mature heritage orchard along with woodland and a lake all connected by nature trails. Championing local craft, food and drink, The Nest is an eclectic family run business owned by the award winning Handmade Scotch Egg Company.

**ABOUT YOU**

As a outgoing Leader of our bustling cafe team, you’ll demonstrate a keen interest in delivering an outstandingly memorable level of customer service. Whether a customer is browsing our Farm Shop or has just sat down for a plate of food in the Cafe, your role is to ensure they have the best experience possible.

Your positive leadership will play a vital part in ensuring the team know what they're doing and where they need to be. Your communication skills will be first class along with a warm, engaging level of customer service. You will in turn be an inspiration to our Team, showing them and coaching them in how to create a warm and friendly atmosphere whilst remaining a stickler for the detail in day to day operations.

**PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS A BARISTA OR A BARTENDER WOULD BE HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS, AND A GOOD ALL ROUND BEVERAGE KNOWLEDGE IS REQUIRED.**

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Leading the Team and setting the standard for a well run, friendly and fast paced cafe
- Training the Team in best practices of Front of House responsibilities
- Ensuring our coffee is served to a high standard at all times
- Managing the rota effectively to ensure sufficient floor cover where possible
- Assisting customers with all requirements by offering suggestions and demonstrating great product knowledge at all times
- Providing an excellent experience to each customer who visits the Cafe, ensuring that all customer needs are exceeded.
- Take orders and deliver them to the table accurately
