As a Senior Administrator, you provide exceptional administrative and organisational support, so it's a great feeling to know you are part of a company that values and recognises your commitment to creating meaningful change.

You will be working 37.5 hours a week at Aderyn Hospital in Monmouthshire Widnes and you will be responsible with other members of the administration team and to ensure the day-to-day responsibilities and procedures for Aderyn are carried out in a timelymanner and to a high standard.

As a Senior Administrator, you will provide an efficient and confidential administrative and secretarial support service to the Hospital Director in the absence of his PA. You will also provide a high standard of personnel support to the hospital by havingan awareness of all systems used within Aderyn.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- To work as part of the administration team maintaining daily administrative operations for the hospital.
- To use your organisational skills to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- In conjunction with HD and the other administration staff ensure effective co-ordination and reporting of quality systems.
- In conjunction with HD's PA ensure all policies and procedures for the hospital are maintained and up to date.
- Be the key person in the Department for co-ordinating all training for staff, keeping accurate training records and offering administration support to the regional training hub.
- Ensuring compliance with all HR Policies & Procedures and Liaising with all disciplines, especially Operational HR and Head Office staff, on a regular basis on the delivery of HR practices and process.
- Having an awareness of staff payroll and checking weekly and monthly cost reports if required by the HD,s PA.
- Monitoring own personal and professional development and seeking regular appraisal and review of performance and progress.
- Co-ordinate reports for submission to various external and internal bodies.
- Organise meetings, venues and book accommodation where required, plus prepare agendas.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Educated to O Level/GCSE standard or equivalent, including English Good knowledge and use of the English language including grammar, spelling and punctuation
- Recognised typing/ secretarial/ PC qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes, i.e.; Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with professionals at all levels
- Be flexible and reliable
- Knowledge or experience of working in a mental health setting is desirable
- Understanding of medical terminology
