Fire Safety Advisor

To provide expert professional advice and support within the Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust in relation to fire safety risk management. Working closely in Estates on all fire safety matters, you will be part of a team that is developing and will be joining at an exciting time and be fully involved in delivering that change and progression.

To provide technical expertise, information, training and advice on fire prevention, management and best practice. Producing fire risk assessments, ensuring fire drills are completed and documented. Assist in Capital and Revenue project delivery with fire safety advice in relation to new and refurbishment projects, ensuring fire compartmentation and fire doors are maintained and instigating remedial works as required. Dealing with compliance and responsible as the lead for asbestos, fire compartmentation, fire door, fire alarm and emergency lighting maintenance ensuring regular testing, surveys and upgrade works are completed as required.

You will be a team player and good communicator, and be able to ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitors to Trust properties is given the upmost priority.
