**Purpose of Function**

This is a field-based role supporting the growth and maintenance of sales. The role will provide support to customers including but not limited to demonstration, clinical trials, installation, for pre and post sales education.

You will be working with Account Managers and other departments within the Draeger organisation to deliver a commercially astute educational programmes to our end users whilst maximising the value that customers get from the Draeger solution.

The role will have responsibility for the full Draeger Medical UK portfolio. The role will be assigned a region however may be expected to support across the UK if the business needs demand.

**About the role**
- To assist with the development of account planning by acting as the key knowledge point enabling customers to maximise the benefits of the Draeger portfolio.
- Work with the Account Managers to maximise the sales of the wider Draeger portfolio.
- Educate and share knowledge with both external and internal customers in the operation, benefits and value of the Draeger portfolio.
- Work with the customer to agree configurations to enable the safe and appropriate use of Draeger devices prior to clinical use.
- Maintaining regular contact with the Account Manager teams to optimise and prioritse workflow to maximise business potential and use of resources.
- Documenting and recording keeping of all customer interactions within the CRM system and training App system.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to organise and facilitate trials, installations and ongoing support for the protection and development of the Draeger portfolio.
- To support the Marketing Managers in the development of knowledge around key therapies to leverage product benefits supporting the go to market strategy.
- To listen, support and understand the customer and be the product expert educating the value and benefits of the Draeger portfolio.
- Support internal education by way of sharing knowledge with the Account Managers and wider teams on user practice and current clinical trends in line with the internal education plans.
- Seek out, identify and communicate opportunities to contribute towards revenue growth within the regional area assigned to you.
- To work within accounts to develop key contacts and nurture these relationships within these accounts from a clinical standpoint, developing Key Opinion Leaders where appropriate.
- You will be assigned a district to work within however where the business demands travel to support other districts throughout the UK and Ireland and occasionally overseas may be required to support the business needs.
- You will be responsible for ensuring your own training for the portfolio is kept up to date and training sessions are attended.
- Shadow colleagues and assist other colleagues for personal development
- Maintain an accurate schedule visible to the whole team using both CRM and Outlook calendar.
- Timely completion of administration and expenses.

**Reporting Relationships**

Sales Manager Medical

Size of team/environment - Close team of 4 people. Wider regional team of 12. This role will be expected to travel where necessary.
**Your Qualifications** Education**
- Nursing Degree, ODP qualification or relevant clinical or industry experience
- Desired previous clinical hands-on experience within the NHS in a relevant area such as Theatres, Critical Care, or other acute care areas.

**Related Experience**
