Due to rapid growth, we're seeking for an energetic and self-driven **Payroll and Finance Admin **to join our growing Finance Team.

This is a hybrid role, based in London, but will support finance operations globally.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Collecting and reviewing payroll information from line managers (hours worked, holidays taken, joiners, leavers, changes etc.);
- Keeping the payroll bureau updated with any changes and submit the monthly payroll processed files to them on a timely manner;
- Calculating salaries of hourly paid employees ;
- Review the pay summary received from the payroll bureau and ensure it agrees to our submitted processed files;
- Ensuring that the internal policies and the payroll process are aligned with the statutory and legal regulations (such as SSP, SMP etc.);
- Processing the payroll bank files through our various banks (Barclays, NatWest, Lloyds);
- Preparing and posting the monthly payroll journals ;
- For the month end, ensuring that all the balance sheet accounts relating to the payroll are reconciled and improving the payroll process;
- Preparing and maintaining accurate records and reports of payroll;
- Keeping the payroll manuals updated;
- Adhering with GDPR and ensuring that all payroll data is protected;
- Working with HR to reconcile Payroll information to HRIS (holidays, pay rates, joiners, leavers etc.);
- Completing any other payroll administration duties;
- Explore the possibility of improving payroll processes;
- Assist the UK finance manager with other month end finance tasks like bank reconciliations, posting supplier invoices, reconciling supplier account, communicate with suppliers etc.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- 1-2 years of experience in a payroll department and/or finance department is essential;
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related to the field;
- CIPP (or equivalent) qualified will be considered an advantage;
- A methodical and cheerful approach to work with excellent attention to detail;
- Able to work unsupervised and under pressure to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication in English both written and verbal;
- Resilient with a flexible, “can-do” approach to work;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
- Able to work well with others and build rapport and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, such as the payroll bureau, the line managers of different departments, the rest of the finance teams and every individual that can come to them with payroll related questions.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related to the field;
- CIPP (or equivalent) qualified will be considered an advantage;
