HR Advisor

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our HR Shared Service function. In this role you will predominantly support our Harvey Water Softener business. Harvey’s designs, manufactures, distributes, sells and installs water softeners, supported by a customer experience team on site meaning we provide an end-to-end service for our customers. As part of Culligan UKI, Harvey's sits within the Household division.
The business site is based in Woking and in the role of HR Adviser you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to team members and managers on a range of HR-related matters. This role requires a strong understanding of ER, HR policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
**Responsibilities**:
- Act as the first point of contact for any queries and concerns related to policies, procedures and employment conditions.
- Provide guidance and support to team members and managers on HR related matters
- Take ownership and coordinate any employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations
- Review monthly absence data and work with managers to ensure the attendance management process is applied appropriately.
- Ensure new team members receive a positive onboarding experience by working closely with hiring managers to prepare a structured induction plan and maintain contact with new team members prior to day one
- Oversee our Personal Performance Management (PPM) process from quality of goals to completion analysis.
- Coach people managers and provide guidance on goal setting, performance evaluations, and identifying when performance requires improvement.
- Support the delivery of HR fundamentals training and work closely with our L&D team to introduce first line manager training.
- Support the roll out of our eNPS survey twice per year, assist with analysing data and work with the key stakeholders to build meaningful action plans to drive improvements
- Work in partnership with the internal communications team to support UKI initiatives.
- Work closely with the H&S team to support DSE assessments and other adjustments when necessary to assist our team members
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 3 years HR operations/ER experience
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, processes and employment laws.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
