Quality Assurance Manager

**Are you a quality assurance/compliance manager looking for a new opportunity?**
- Plan, direct and co-ordinate Company activities to ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards across both sites
- Oversee the required quality checks are being carried out and ensuring a right first-time product.
- Monitor and report quality control progress, notifying any predicted shortfall or discrepancies against timescale and budgets.
**Based**: Brandon with occasional visits to Retford
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the quality procedures ensuring the Company always remains compliant.
- Create, implement, administer, and enforce policies, procedures and laws required.
- Up to date quality control processes, procedures and capabilities in place at all times.
- Assist with business development and success of current and new product development
- Perform routine internal audits to ensure that business is operating in accordance with regulations.
- Support factory staff and management in assessing & resolving any quality issues and ensuring that appropriate action has been taken and recorded correctly.
- Manage business process compliance activity for the Company
- Collaborate with management team to make sure that the entire company is aware of compliance requirements and issues
- Analyse all in-force contracts to make sure that each client is getting what they paid for.
- Develop internal controls and policies designed to ensure that all compliance needs are met.
- Deal with any Factory production quality control issues
- Oversee ISO9001, ISO14001 and FPC Audits
- NEBOSH/Health and safety training/certification.
- IOSH Manager Safety
- Auditors Qualification an advantage.
- Concrete Technology Qualification an advantage.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing, QC or construction environment.
- QA experience and knowledge is essential
- Good Health, Safety and Environmental awareness
- High level of integrity
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Resilient and reliable
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Personable and approachable with the ability to build effective relationships.
- Confident and assertive but not aggressive
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers/staff as required. People and customer focused.
- Good financial awareness/business acumen
