**Contract Type**: Full Time, Permanent
**Location**: RAF Lakenheath, Brandon, Suffolk, IP27 9PP with travel to RAF Feltwell and RAF Mildenhall
**Working Hours**: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7:30AM-4:30PM
**Salary**: £32,000 per year

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Painter/Decorator to join an existing operational team of 10.

You will be painting and decorating the Single Living Accommodation Dormitories or the military family housing based on RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, along with the surrounding sites in a 7 mile radius.
After being assigned a property by your line manager, you will undertake the beginning to end process of painting the property to a high quality and within the timescales provided, until snagged by a Change of Occupancy Manager.

Other responsibilities include;
Attending inspections to pick up snags
Cleaning up supplies and over paint
Preparing painting surfaces by washing walls and repairing holes
Stripping old paint if necessary
Providing decorative and faux finishes as the project requires

What you’ll need to do this role

It is essential you have experience in painting to a high standard within tight timescales.

Good communication skills.

It is desirable that you have a clean, full UK drivers license.

It is desirable that you have experience of operating within an MOD environment and have familiarity with geography and establishments within area of responsibility

You must be able to pass BPSS Clearance to be considered for this role.
