Specimen Receipt and Processing Associate

**We are seeking to hire a Specimen Management Associate professional to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in Livingston, UK**
The Specimen Receipt and Processing Associate is responsible for assisting with a variety of routine activities associated with receipt of clinical specimens.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Assists with receipt and handling of consignments and shipments.
- Opens shipments and conducts quality checks on patient information forms; reports issues to senior staff.
- Manages correct disposal/recycling of kit shipping supplies.
- Ensures specimens are properly removed from kit packaging through secondary checks.
- Supports and responds to after-hour alarms and other critical functions; assists in equipment maintenance.
- Handles supply inventory, workstation cleanup, administrative duties, and follows safety procedures and regulatory guidelines diligently.
**What We Are Looking For**:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic Computer skills.
**The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities needed for this role**:
- Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
