Careers & Employability are looking to recruit an Employability Officer within their Health & Life Science (HLS) Faculty Team. This is a chance to join an innovative Careers & Employability service committed to supporting students to achieve the very best possible outcomes through a wide variety of interventions. As an Employability Officer, you will be involved in designing and delivering learning, teaching and assessment activities that enhance students¿ professional skills and employability skills.

Working with students from across the Faculty, and supporting central Careers & Employability initiatives, this role will support the teams focus on embedding employability within the curriculum, developing a wide range of engaging and interactive sessions, projects and events and working closely with our students to enable them to prepare for their next steps after graduation.

The role is ideal for someone who has a genuine enthusiasm for working within careers in higher education. You will need a friendly and approachable nature, to be confident in teaching a variety of employability and skill development topics, and to be a proactive and creative problem solver that has the ability to deliver high quality work whilst adapting to varied deadlines.

You will have a degree (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience).
