Join our dynamic Occupational Therapy Team at the Oxford Centre for Enablement, where we are dedicated to providing patient-centred rehabilitation, maximizing independence, and facilitating safe and timely discharge. As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our approach to achieving patient goals.

The Oxford Centre for Enablement is a purpose-built rehabilitation centre on the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre (NOC) site in Oxford.

The OCE houses a number of multidisciplinary inpatient and outpatient services aimed at supporting people recovering from, and living with, disabling conditions.

The OCE is a training site for rehabilitation professionals in the fields of rehabilitation medicine, neurophysiotherapy, occupational therapy, clinical neuropsychology, rehabilitation engineering and clinical science.

The successful post holder will work collaboratively with the Occupational Therapy Team, assisting with clinical and non-clinical duties. You will Implement holistic interventions for patients under the supervision of a registered Occupational Therapist, record patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date patient records whilst supporting patient-centred rehabilitation to enhance individual independence.
- Good written and spoken English
- Proven educational standard to GCSE in English and Maths (or the equivalent)
- To have (or be working towards) NVQ 3 or equivalent training
- Experience of working, within a Health or Community services setting, with adults with a range of illnesses or disabilities
- IT skills
