Job Overview

About the Job
  • This role involves managing a caseload, planning and undertaking occupational therapy assessments and interventions, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Candidates must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills, as well as the ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • The successful candidate will work across different specialties and settings, developing their skills and expertise in occupational therapy.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients across various specialties and settings.
  • To manage a caseload and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • To maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of policies and procedures within the trust.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in occupational therapy (OT) or in the last 6 months of studies.
  • Relevant undergraduate/postgraduate occupational therapy clinical experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of OT process, OT models, and evidence-based practice.
Benefits and Salary

The salary for this position is estimated at £34,000 - £46,161 per annum, based on location and industry standards. In addition to the salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and access to training and development opportunities.
