**Job Title: Workshop Operative**

**Location: Nottingham**

**Hours: Days 0630 - 1600 (12.30pm finish on Friday)**

**Pay Rate: £10.42 per hour - £11.44 (1st April onwards)**

**The Company**
A manufacturing business based in Nottingham are looking for an experienced Workshop / General Operative to join their growing team. The company specialising in manufacturing and distributing in a pipe systems.

- Must have experience within a workshop or factory role
- Confident using measuring equipment
- Experience using hand tools and shop floor machinery
- Could follow drawings where shown
- Ability to work at speed with provision
- Be good with verbal and written communication
- Help around workshop where needed

**The Role**

As a Workshop operative you will be responsible for helping around the workshop where needed and be able to rotate around different departments.
- Using hand tools such as air drills, riveters, wrenches
- Follow drawings to match designs
- Using machinery to produce / cut metal fabrications
- Wet and dry polishing and sawing
- Working to agreed deadlines
- Packing and wrapping products when finished production
- Completing visual inspection of work
